Hanna

Hanna was an exceptionally gifted girl who was far too tired of all that “We should make Maths fun” crap.

That morning, she stood up in front of her teacher, took a deep breath and said:

—I haven’t done my assignment because I'm bored!




     (¡Mamaaá, mamaaá! ¡Mira cuantízimaz cuentas he hecho!).

The walking ant.

One morning, Mother Mª Antonia met an ant while she was walking down the corridor of the university, and she asked it: “How did you get here?” The ant replied: “Walking! What else?” Since that day, they always go for a walk together.




Adverbs matter



—I'm getting sick of your always-never-ever-rarely-seldom moaning!

»I've been never good at adverbs and you know it! And that's why you're always trying to laugh at me! Because I rarely went to your grammar classes and I seldom, if ever, paid attention to all that literary babbling you taught so nicely!





A walk in the park



Every time they had a fight and John tried to persuade Liza to go for a "walk in the park" in front of the university where they fell in love she gave him the same dirty look.


That night, he decided he would go alone.



Lost

In their grammar class, Mary looked at Pablo and asked:

—How do you spell it, "l-u-s-t" or "l-o-s-t"?

Pablo smiled gently while staring at her eyes for a few seconds an said:

—Both!
