From the other side of the Wall

Dear Mr. Ban Ki-Moon,

I now I’m not good at writin. I don’t spek that much ither but I’ll give it a tri.

I just wantit to tell you that I was so happy livin on the other side of the West Bank barrier. The guys and I iust to play everiday and we got along realli well.

I cant remember how I got here and I dont really anderstend why am I so grounded that they wont allow me to go back home.

Inside my cage, I kip hearing the guys from the occupying power talkin about the letter my friends wrote you about my repatriasion…

I suear I dont anderstend what I've done wrong but I promiss that if you help me to jump over that Wall again, I will never, ever do waterver I've done.

Thanks a lot Mr,
The West Bank soccer ball.

  1. Good story. First of all I though that you did mistakes unintentionally...then I understood that you did it intentionally.

  2. Yes, this is a really creative take on the news piece. The mistakes actually make the whole thing more realistic. Well done

  4. I like the story, like Caño said i didn´t know that the stories were wrong on purpose, but it's actually a strong point of the story. I also like how its a kid who writes the letter and makes me read it with the innocent voice of the kid. Really well done!

  7. Thanks a lot guys,

I've changed the ending because I think there's a really important literary resource missing: the author of the letter is "the ball". The soccer ball.
