England, the strange paradise...

I was sat at the feet of the lighthouse watching the astonishing landscape. Dawn was breaking and I was enjoying a peaceful time by myself when that drunken sailor came to me and started to stutter some nasty words.
I stood up and push him from the cliff.

That’s What I Did with the Drunken Sailor!

Daddy's Back

Daddy’s back

When Laura opened the door, she couldn’t believe her eyes. “Daddy, what the hell are you doing here? You are dead, for God shake!”, she screamed.
The old man, dressed with an old Argentinean prison uniform, tried to talk although no words came out of his throat. Laura kept on asking questions, waving her arms, going crazy… Then, the blurry shape of his father started to fade away until it disappeared right where his favorite rocking chair was placed.
Laura shook her head and thought she had been having so much work lately: “I must start having more hours of sleep or I will go nuts…”
The next morning, she woke up really early —as usual— and went right straight to the kitchen to switch on the coffee maker when some strange feeling forced her to turn around. And there he was again, sat on the kitchen chair, looking at her with a really peaceful look on his face.
Now it was she who couldn’t say a word and the only thing that it was heard was:
“I’m here to tell you why I ended up in jail, and I won’t leave until you listen to me.”

My worst day...

It is September 2001, I´m so lucky to be here in New York. Today is my first day in my new job and I´m so nervous. I hope the views are as good as I have been told from mu building.
At last it´s lunch time, what a surprise! My sister has come to vistit me and take me out to lunch. As we cross the street we begin to see people screaming and shauting. No-one knows what´s happening.

Suddenly we can´t breathe and there is smoke everywhere. We are so scared we don´´t know what to do. All I know is that a plane has creased in to the Twin Towers.

When I go to find my sister, I realice that she is not breathing...

This was the worst day of my life, I will never forget it.

Nightmare

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): Teresa had been planning the party for months. Even for years. She had just turned 17th and, finally, her parents had decided to trust her so she was spending the weekend all by herself. Well, by herself and about 15 of her closest friends…

(Ringtone)

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Hanna?”

Hanna (Andrea Hernaiz): “Yeap!”

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “It’s me. You ain’t gonna believe it! They’re about to leave, right now. I’m so excited I can’t wait! I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 10 and… we’re off to buy all the stuff together! Right? Later!”

Hanna (Andrea Hernaiz): “Later!”

(Mom’s voice coming up the stairs)

Teresa’s mom (Andrea Hernaiz): “Teresa! We’re leaving honey!”

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Bye mum. Have a nice trip and don’t forget to call me when you get there, OK?”

Teresa’s mom (Andrea Hernaiz): “Sure darling. Behave yourself and remember: no-boyfriends-allowed!”

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “I know, mum… Don’t worry.”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): The door slammed and Teresa started to jump up and down the corridor thinking out loud,

Teresa thinking (Natalia Carretero): “Oh, yes! Yes! Yes! What should I do now? What should I do now! What should I do now!

(Ringtone)

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Jane?”

Jane (Andrea Hernaiz): “Yeap!”

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “It’s me. You ain’t gonna believe it! They are off!”

Jane (Andrea Hernaiz): “Great! And how many 'not-allowed-to-do' do we have?”

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Just one. The good old 'no-boyfriends-allowed'”.

Jane (Andrea Hernaiz): “But… You have no boyfriend yet, do you?

(Laughs and a fading 'see ya tomorrow')

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): Teresa took a deep breath and thought,

Teresa thinking (Natalia Carretero): “OK, Teresa, just calm down and relax. The party is not until tomorrow.”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): She went to the kitchen to make herself a big bowl of popcorn. She sank into the couch, turned on the TV and…

(The voice of a TV announcer)

TV announcer (Begoña Lombardero): “… Police is still looking for the man who ran away from the AA Mental Hospital last night… Convicted of child abuse 10 years ago… Nobody has seen him yet…The whole neighborhood is deeply concerned…”

(The voice of the TV announcer fading away)

Teresa thinking (Natalia Carretero): “Oh, my God! It’s him! And that’s right round the corner! Oh, my God! What should I do now? What should I do now? Common’ Teresa, Think! He’s around here somewhere, I can feel it! Oh, man!”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): She jumped out of the couch as fast as she could and run straight away to the front door,

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Locked!”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): Then she ran to the backyard door,

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Locked!”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): She kept on running room after room shutting down all the blinds and windows. Finally, she just laid down on his parents’ bed and thought,

Teresa thinking (Natalia Carretero): “OK, Teresa, now you’re OK. Nothing bad is gonna happen to you. You’re safe and everything will be OK. Just-calm-down.”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): She took another deep breath (again) and tried to hold it as long as she could. Her eyelids started to bend slightly. She was about to fall asleep when funny noises from downstairs began to get louder.

(Weird noises coming from downstairs)

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Here he is! He is here… Oh, my god, he’s inside my house. What can I do? What can I do! What can I do! Common’ Teresa think! what can you do?”

(The phone rings)

Teresa’s mom (Andrea Hernaiz): “Teresa? Honey? It’s mum… Are you OK?”

(Door knocking)

Teresa talking out loud (Laura Fernández): “Yes mum, I’m, I’mmm OK but I can’t talk to you right now”

Teresa’s mom (Andrea Hernaiz): “Teresa! Honey! Teresa!”

(Hanging up the phone)

(A voice from outside)

Teresa’s mom (Andrea Hernaiz): “Open the door honey! Honey! Honeyyy!”

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): When her parents could, finally, get into the house, Teresa was lying on the floor. Her mum held her into her arms until she opened her eyes and said:

Narrator (Begoña Lombardero): “Oh, mom! Thank god you’re here!” “Could you cook anything for my tomorrow’s party?”

Oh man!

Carmen’s whole life was trapped inside about a hundred brown cardboard moving boxes. She was late for work. Running up and down the hall, moaning.

James was trying to read the morning paper...

"Where is my 'gel'?"

"Your what?"

"My 'gel', my 'gel'! Don’t you call it 'gel' in English? That thing you use to clean up your…"

"Your sins?"

"Whose sins are you talking about? I’m just asking if you’ve seen my 'however the hell you call it in English' inside any of the boxes we’ve…

Never mind. I’ll have a shower with your shampoo, if you don’t mind..."

Between hills

"Between hills". That was the name of the Camp.

We had been travelling for months. We were going to stay there for a whole week and I was so tired that the only thing I could think of was... a long and warm shower!

I ran to the shower room. They were all busy so I had to wait.

After 30 minutes, I could get into it. The lights turned off and I couldn´t see anything.

I confused shampoo with toothpaste. When I looked myself in the mirror I shouted:

"What the hell?".

Solitude

I didn’t know who he was. I was so frightened I couldn’t breathe.

I don’t know how to explain it or how to make you understand the way I felt.

The only thing I can say is that my will flew away.

The nameless human being who comes into my room every night without asking...

The bite

When I saw her trying to park in the same place I wanted to, she got into my nerves and made me so mad. When I get mad the only thing I can do is trying to concentrate to not to bite. When I get mad I need to bite.

That woman distract me so I had to drag her finger off.
I could not imagine how strong my jaws are. I blocked myself so I ran away with her finger in my mouth.

One week later I went for a walk and I saw my picture hung on every lamppost advising:

              "Wanted, biter girl".

He met his match.

Alejandro and Casilda have been madly in love for three years. It`s monday morning and Alejandro has been sitting in the canteen of Ces Don Bosco university thinking about Casilda.

He sent her a message last night telling her that he wanted to break up. It´s 9 o`clock and Casilda has not shown up for class. The police have arrived to speak to Alejandro. Casilda has disappeared and the police have been told that Alejandro has been acting strange recently...

Deep screams

Saturday morning. Adrian and I are taking a walk looking for areas in which to play paintball. I've never played, but he says it's great and I should try it... I love him and it looks fun, so I don't put objections. Suddenly, we heard screams, we are scared.

- Help, please!

I feel chills, we run following the screams. We find a well. I cannot believe that there is someone there... We peek the head - with fear. In the background, we see two very frightened children, crying out for we removed them from there.

We cannot get them - I think - but wanted to get me in there to comfort them. We called the police. 15 minutes later the police, fire and ambulance appear. They removed them, they seems be fine. We talked to the police. We go before the press arrives, we don’t want problems.

Awkward

Caroline and Robert were in psychology of education class at Ces Don Bosco University when a boy from the other class came in.

He was insane, nervous and crying, it seemed that something really weird had happened.

Monday, 24 March 2014

The colour of their ceiling.

Trying to catch her breath, staring at her bedroom ceiling, she asked:

—What colour would you like?

>>Green? Greeen? Greeeen! Greeen, green, greeen. Green, greeen, greeen…  When I want you in my aaarms...

Suddenly, he opened his eyes and said:

—Sorry, I’d fallen asleep. Which colour where you talking about? I’d love it red!…

St. Patrick´s day

Julia was in her Philosophy class when a girl from another class came in.

She was all dressed in green and her attitude was too strange. Something really weird had happened.

When the whole class staring at her, she shouted:

"Am I the only one who had realized that today is St. Patrick´s?".

Desillusioned

Disappointed, Miriam followed the red car down to the lake, where they stopped. Then, she took a gun and two people were killed. The police came but it was too late because she was also killed - by herself. She had left just a couple of words: "He won´t trick anyone else".

Hanna

Hanna was an exceptionally gifted girl who was far too tired of all that “We should make Maths fun” crap.

That morning, she stood up in front of her teacher, took a deep breath and said:

—I haven’t done my assignment because I'm bored!

(¡Mamaaá, mamaaá! ¡Mira cuantízimaz cuentas he hecho!).

The walking ant.

One morning, Mother Mª Antonia met an ant while she was walking down the corridor of the university, and she asked it: “How did you get here?” The ant replied: “Walking! What else?” Since that day, they always go for a walk together.

Adverbs matter

—I'm getting sick of your always-never-ever-rarely-seldom moaning!

»I've been never good at adverbs and you know it! And that's why you're always trying to laugh at me! Because I rarely went to your grammar classes and I seldom, if ever, paid attention to all that literary babbling you taught so nicely!

A walk in the park

Every time they had a fight and John tried to persuade Liza to go for a "walk in the park" in front of the university where they fell in love she gave him the same dirty look.

That night, he decided he would go alone.

Lost

In their grammar class, Mary looked at Pablo and asked:

—How do you spell it, "l-u-s-t" or "l-o-s-t"?

Pablo smiled gently while staring at her eyes for a few seconds an said:

—Both!
